Fake Tripe Soup
Ingredients: 1 piece of sour gherkin 300 g pleurotus 1 carrot 1 onion 50g sour cream 1-2 cloves of garlic vinegar, salt, oil, flour
To prepare this delicious recipe, start by cleaning the onion and carrot, then chop them finely to sauté them evenly. In a deep pan, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat, then add the onion and carrot. Let them sauté for a few minutes, stirring occasionally, until the onion becomes translucent and the carrot softens slightly. This aromatic base will give a superb flavor to your dish.
Meanwhile, take a fresh bell pepper and cut it into small cubes or julienne, depending on your preference. Once the onion and carrot are ready, add the bell pepper to the pan and mix well to combine the flavors. Let them sauté together for a few minutes, so the vegetables soften and release their juices.
After sautéing the vegetables, wash the mushrooms under a stream of cold water, then slice them thinly, also julienne. Add the mushrooms over the sautéed vegetables and mix well. They will add a rich flavor and pleasant texture to your dish. Allow the mushrooms to cook together with the vegetables, stirring occasionally, until they reduce in volume and become tender.
Once the vegetables and mushrooms are cooked, add water until the ingredients are covered, allowing everything to simmer on low heat. After a few minutes, when everything is well cooked, add salt and vinegar to taste, to give the dish a note of acidity that will balance the flavors.
Prepare a delicious sauce by mixing crushed garlic with sour cream blended with a teaspoon of flour, similar to the method used for tripe soup. This sauce will add a special creaminess to the dish. Pour the sauce into the pot, stirring well to incorporate it evenly. Let everything simmer for a few more minutes to allow the flavors to meld and achieve a rich and savory taste.
Cook on low heat, being careful to stir occasionally to prevent sticking. At the end, you can adjust the seasonings to your liking, adding more salt or vinegar if you want a stronger taste. Serve the dish warm, accompanied by a portion of polenta or fresh bread, for a comforting and flavorful lunch or dinner.
