Apple Cake and Milk Cream

 Ingredients: 7 suitable apples, 3 tablespoons of sugar, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, 2 packets of vanilla sugar. For the dough: 5 eggs, 5 tablespoons of sugar, 5 tablespoons of flour, 1 vanilla essence. Milk cream (according to Ioana's recipe): 750ml of milk, 400g of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda.

To prepare a delicious apple-based dessert, we start by peeling the apples. Choose fresh apples, preferably from a flavorful variety, such as Antonovka or Golden Delicious, which are perfect for baking. After peeling, slice them thinly to allow the flavors to blend better during baking. Take a round cake pan, which we line with parchment paper to prevent the mixture from sticking to the bottom. Arrange the apple slices evenly in the pan, covering the entire surface.

Over the apples, add a generous amount of sugar, which will help caramelize them during baking. Sprinkle a little cinnamon, which will add a warm and aromatic flavor. Don't forget the vanilla sugar, which will provide a sweet aroma ready to enrich the entire recipe. Gently mix the ingredients on the apples so that the flavors combine.

Now, let's take care of the batter composition. In a bowl, combine flour, eggs, milk, and a pinch of salt. Mix well until you get a homogeneous composition that is slightly denser than pancake batter. This composition will be poured over the apples in the pan, evenly covering the fruit slices. Preheat the oven to a moderate temperature, around 180 degrees Celsius, and place the pan with the prepared dessert inside. Bake for about 30-40 minutes or until the crust is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Once the dessert is baked, let it cool in the pan for a few minutes, then carefully invert it onto a serving plate. Now, let's take care of the milk cream. In a saucepan, combine milk, sugar, and a bit of vanilla, then simmer over low heat. Stir constantly to avoid sticking. Continue cooking until the cream becomes thicker, being careful not to let it boil too hard. After you achieve the desired consistency, pour the cold milk cream over the cooled dessert, allowing it to drizzle gently over the edges. This step will make the dessert even more appetizing.
