Ingredients: A cake base (sponge cake, brownies, etc.) 1 vanilla pudding (or whatever you like depending on the base you have) strawberries (other fruits as preferred) sugar (according to the instructions on the pudding box) eggs (according to the instructions on the pudding box) milk (according to the instructions on the pudding box)

To prepare a delicious and appealing dessert, you can use a leftover cake layer, or you can choose to bake a new one. Regardless of the option chosen, make sure the layer is baked in a round or check shape, so that you achieve the right height for your dessert. If you choose to use a simple layer, it will fit just as well, but a check layer can add an interesting texture.

We start by preparing the layer. If you are using a leftover one, carefully cut off the top and hollow out the middle, making sure to leave the edges and bottom intact. The leftover cake you obtain can be saved for use in another dessert. These will become part of a delicious parfait, so don’t throw them away.

The next step is to prepare a delicious pudding. Follow the instructions on the package, but to achieve a firmer consistency, use a slightly smaller amount of milk than indicated. This pudding will be the binding ingredient between the layers of fruit and cake.

After you have cooked the pudding, wash and cut the strawberries into suitable pieces. Now it’s time to assemble the dessert. In the hollow of the cake layer, add a layer of cut strawberries, followed by a layer of warm pudding. Put more strawberries on top, then gently press to combine the ingredients. Add another layer of pudding, and to ensure a good stick, lightly coat the upper edges of the layer with a bit of pudding.

After you finish assembling the first dessert, move on to the second one. Choose larger glasses and start layering inside them. Place some pieces of strawberries at the bottom of the glasses, then add the leftover brownie layer, followed by a layer of pudding. Continue to alternate the layers: strawberries, brownies, pudding, until you fill the glasses. These uneven layers will add a rustic and appetizing look.

Once you have finished assembling all the components, chill the desserts for a few hours. This step is essential to allow the flavors to meld and the textures to stabilize. At the end of the day, when you meet with friends, take the desserts out of the fridge and serve them with a glass of conversation. These delights will surely be appreciated, and the combination of creams and fruits will bring a smile to everyone’s faces.
