Simple Appetizer

Ingredients: 200g of goat cheese (use soft telemea or similar type) 150g mascarpone salt, pepper apricot jam* Toasted bread

We start preparing a delicious recipe that will surely impress anyone who sits at your table. The first step is to take care of the goat cheese, which we crumble carefully in a bowl. It is important to choose a quality cheese with an intense flavor that blends perfectly with the creaminess of the mascarpone. We add the mascarpone, which will bring an extra touch of finesse and a velvety texture. Using a spatula, we mix the two types of cheese well until we obtain a homogeneous paste, which will be the base of our delicious tartine.

Once we have the cheese cream, it is time to season it. We add salt and pepper to taste, being careful not to overdo it, as the flavor of the goat cheese is already quite pronounced. We mix again gently to ensure that the spices are evenly distributed in the mixture.

The next step is to take care of the toast bread. We choose fresh slices, preferably from a type of bread that toasts well, such as whole grain or rye bread. With a sharp knife, we cut the slices into the desired shapes, whether we opt for triangles, squares, or even more creative shapes. We toast the slices on one side until they become golden and crispy, then we turn them over on the other side to give them a perfect texture.

Once the bread is toasted, we generously spread the surface of each slice with apricot jam. This will add a sweet-tart contrast that will balance the flavors of the cheese. We then place the cheese cream on top, spreading it evenly so that every bite is full of flavor.

Finally, we decorate the tartines as we wish. I chose to use a few pieces of truffle, which not only add an elegant look but also an unmistakable taste. We carefully place them on each tartine to create a truly attractive platter. These goat cheese and apricot jam tartines are perfect for any occasion, whether it’s a party, a sophisticated brunch, or a family dinner. Enjoy your meal!
