Apples in a robe
Ingredients: * 3 apples * 100 g flour * 2 tablespoons melted butter * 100 ml slightly warm milk (or water) * 1 egg * 1 tablespoon sugar * a pinch of salt * vanilla powdered sugar * cinnamon powder (optional) * oil for frying
To prepare apple pancakes, we will start by making a delicious batter that is slightly thicker than usual. In a large bowl, we put the flour, add a pinch of salt to balance the taste, and the melted butter, which will add extra flavor and a softer texture to the pancakes. We continue by adding slightly warm milk, so the ingredients mix easily, and sugar, which will sweeten the batter. Using a whisk, we mix well until the composition becomes homogeneous. After achieving a uniform texture, we add the egg yolk, which will enrich the batter with nutrients and contribute to a better consistency.
In another bowl, we beat the egg white until it becomes firm and shiny, then we gradually incorporate it into the batter, mixing carefully so as not to deflate it. If we wish, we can add a dash of cinnamon powder to the batter or use it to sprinkle powdered sugar on top of the pancakes at the end, which will provide a special aromatic flavor. In a deep pan, we heat the oil, making sure it is hot enough to fry the apple slices.
