Braided Brioche Bread Filled

 Ingredients: 550 g flour, 250 ml milk, 50 ml oil, 25 g yeast, 1 egg, 10 g sugar, 250 g salami, 250 g provolone

We start this delicious recipe with a basic ingredient, flour, which we will place in a large bowl. In the center of the flour, we create a well, or a "hole", which will be the place where we add the wet ingredients. Here, we dissolve the yeast in warm milk, making sure it is not too hot to avoid killing the yeast. We mix well until the yeast is completely dissolved, and for an extra touch of flavor and texture, we add the oil, the beaten egg, and the sugar. These ingredients will bring a pleasant taste and a fluffy texture to our dough.

After mixing all the ingredients well, we add a pinch of salt, which will enhance all the flavors. Now, it is time to let the dough rise. We cover the bowl with a clean towel or plastic wrap and leave it in a warm place, away from drafts, for about two hours. During this time, the yeast will act, and the dough will rise and become airy.

After the two hours, our dough should be well risen. We divide it into three equal parts, each part to be rolled out into a rectangle. We use a rolling pin to get an even shape, and then we add to each rectangle a delicious combination of salami and cheese, diced. It is important not to overfill to avoid making the dough hard to roll.

After adding the filling, we carefully roll each rectangle, ensuring that the filling stays well sealed inside. Finally, we braid the three rolls, forming a beautiful shape that will add an attractive look to our bread. We place it in a baking tray lined with parchment paper and let it rise again, to allow it to develop even more.

Once it has risen again, we brush the surface with milk to achieve a golden and shiny crust. Then, we preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and bake the bread for 10 minutes. After this period, we reduce the temperature to 160 degrees Celsius and continue baking for another 20 minutes or until the bread is beautifully browned, having an irresistible aroma. When ready, we let it cool slightly before slicing and enjoying. This salami and cheese bread will surely be a hit at any meal!
