Apple Pie (7)

Ingredients: For apples: 6 apples (the number of apples may vary depending on the bottom of the container used) 8 teaspoons of nesquik 250 g sugar For the base: 250 g flour 4 eggs 200 g sugar one lemon (juice and zest) one packet of baking powder one packet of vanilla sugar 4 tablespoons of oil

To prepare a delicious and aromatic dessert, we start by peeling the apples, making sure to remove all excess skin so that the core remains intact. Then, we use a knife or a teaspoon to hollow them out, creating a deep enough cavity to fill with a delicious mixture. At this point, we sprinkle each apple with two teaspoons of Nesquik, giving them a chocolatey note, and add a little sugar to enhance their natural sweetness.

Meanwhile, we take care of caramelizing the dish. We take a heat-resistant dish and add 10 tablespoons of sugar. We heat the dish over low heat, stirring constantly to avoid burning the sugar. Once the sugar has melted and turned golden, we spread it over the walls of the dish, ensuring it is evenly coated. We let the caramel cool, forming a delicious crust that will add a wonderful contrast to the stuffed apple.

After the caramel has hardened, we carefully place the apples in the dish, making sure to arrange them in a single layer. Now it's time to preheat the oven to a medium temperature, around 180 degrees Celsius, and bake the apples for 15 minutes until they become slightly tender.

In the meantime, we devote ourselves to preparing the batter. In a large bowl, we mix the eggs with the sugar and vanilla sugar until we obtain a fluffy mixture. We add the grated lemon zest, which will bring an extra freshness, and the oil, stirring continuously. Next comes the flour, which we gradually introduce, ensuring no lumps form. Finally, we add the baking powder dissolved in freshly squeezed lemon juice, which will help the batter rise beautifully.

After mixing everything well, we carefully pour the mixture over the caramelized apples in the oven. We let it bake at medium heat for about 45 minutes, or until the batter turns golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

After baking, we take the dessert out of the oven and let it cool slightly. Then, using a large plate, we carefully invert the dish, thus arranging the apples on the surface of the dessert. This combination of caramelized apples and fluffy batter will create an irresistible contrast of textures and flavors. Enjoy your meal!
