To create a savory and aromatic dish, we will start by preparing the basic ingredients: mushrooms, potatoes, and carrot. In a large pot, we bring water to a boil, adding a pinch of salt to enhance the flavor. Whole, fresh, beautiful mushrooms are boiled for about 10-15 minutes until they become tender. The potatoes and carrot are peeled, then added to the same pot and boiled together until they are well softened but not too soft, so they maintain their shape.

After all the vegetables are boiled, we remove them from the water and let them cool. The potatoes are peeled and grated, resulting in a fine texture that will embrace the added ingredients. In a large bowl, we mix the grated potatoes with cheese, preferably a creamy one, and sprinkle dried oregano, thus adding a Mediterranean flavor note. This mixture will be the delicious base of our dish.

Once cooled, the carrot is grated and mixed with half of the previously prepared mayonnaise, resulting in a creamy and flavorful composition. Salt is added to taste, being careful not to overdo it, as the cheese and mayonnaise can already provide a dose of salt.

Meanwhile, the mushrooms have cooled and need to be well drained of excess water. The green onion leaves are finely chopped, bringing a crunchy note and fresh taste to our dish.

Assembling the dish is the stage that will make all these ingredients shine. We take a pot and line it well to prevent the mixture from sticking. We place the mushrooms cap side up, creating a small nest for the other ingredients. On top, we add the chopped green onion, which will bring an unmistakable flavor. The next layer consists of the potato mixture, which we spread evenly.

After that, we add a thin layer of the remaining mayonnaise, which will help unify all the flavors. The last layer is represented by the carrot mixture, which will add color and a sweet taste. Once all the ingredients are carefully arranged, we cover the pot and let it chill in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours. This period is essential to allow the flavors to blend and achieve a perfect texture.

After it has cooled, the dish is carefully turned out onto a plate. It will look spectacular, and each bite will be an explosion of tastes and textures. It is a dish suitable for any occasion, offering a delicious combination that will impress everyone.
