Quick cherry cake
This quick strawberry cake recipe is perfect for moments when you want to indulge in something delicious without spending hours in the kitchen. The fresh aroma of strawberries combined with the fluffy texture of the batter makes this cake an ideal choice for any occasion, whether it’s a party, a get-together with friends, or simply a dessert for a quiet afternoon.
To prepare this cake, you will need the following ingredients: 250 g of flour, 150 g of sugar, 100 g of melted butter, 3 eggs, 200 ml of milk, a packet of baking powder, a pinch of salt, and of course, 300 g of fresh strawberries. If you don’t have strawberries on hand, you can experiment with other seasonal fruits, such as raspberries, blueberries, or peaches, each variant bringing a unique flavor note.
The first step is to prepare the oven by setting it to 180 degrees Celsius. Then, grease a baking pan with butter and sprinkle a little flour to prevent the cake from sticking. In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until the mixture becomes frothy and light in color. Add the melted butter and milk, continuing to mix well to combine all the wet ingredients.
In another bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, and salt, then gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet ones, mixing gently to avoid lumps. Once you have a smooth batter, wash the strawberries, cut them in half or quarters, and add them to the mixture, gently folding to avoid crushing them.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and level the surface. Place a few extra strawberries on top for an attractive appearance. Put the pan in the preheated oven and bake the cake for about 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
After the cake is done, let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a rack to cool completely. Serve it alongside a cup of cold elderflower drink, and each slice will bring a touch of happiness, being a perfect dessert for any sweet lover! This cake is not only quick but also colorful and fragrant, turning every meal into a celebration of taste.
Flour is placed in a bowl, eggs are cracked in the middle, mixed with the flour, pouring in the milk little by little. Salt, 50 g of sugar, and cherries are added. The butter is melted and the mold is greased; the rest of the butter is incorporated into the mixture which is then placed in the mold and baked in a preheated oven for 30-35 minutes. The quick cherry cake is dusted with sugar after being taken out of the oven and is served warm or cold.
