Ingredients: - a cabbage (not too big); - 450 g of homemade smoked ham, or homemade smoked bacon, or kaiser; - 1 l of sour cream; - 2 tablespoons of flour; - dill; - salt; - delikat.

We start by choosing the right meat for this delicious soup. It can be chicken, pork, or beef, depending on your preferences. Once you have chosen the meat, cut it into appropriately sized pieces so that it cooks evenly. We place the meat in a large pot and add cold water, enough to cover all the pieces well. We bring the water to a boil and, at this stage, season with a teaspoon of salt and a little delicacy, keeping in mind that we will adjust the taste at the end.

After the meat has boiled for about 30-40 minutes until it becomes tender, it's time to add the vegetables. We cut the cabbage into thin strips using a sharp knife or a grater and add it to the pot. The cabbage will give the soup a pleasant aroma and a crunchy texture, while the finely chopped fresh dill will add a note of freshness. We mix well and let the soup simmer over medium heat so that the flavors combine.

In a separate plate, we place two tablespoons of flour, then gradually add a tablespoon of sour cream, stirring continuously to obtain a smooth paste without lumps. This technique is essential as it will help thicken the soup and create a creamy texture. Once we have obtained the fine paste, we add the rest of the sour cream, mixing again.

When the cabbage is cooked and tender, we add the sour cream mixture to the pot, mixing well to integrate all the ingredients. We let the soup simmer for a few minutes, about 5, until it thickens and the flavors intensify.

Finally, we taste the soup and adjust the salt, adding more if necessary. A well-cooked soup is not only a nutritious meal but also an excellent choice for colder days, providing warmth and comfort. We serve the soup hot, perhaps with crunchy croutons or fresh bread, and enjoy every spoonful of this savory and comforting dish. This is a very good and sweet soup that will delight both family and friends.
