- 500 ml sour cream

1. Preparing the meat: Start by washing the chicken well. If using a free-range chicken, the meat will add an authentic taste to your soup. Cut the chicken into large pieces for even cooking. Place it in a large pot, add cold water, and let it boil.

2. Adding the vegetables: Clean and wash the vegetables. Cut the onion in half, and the carrots and celery into large pieces. Add them to the pot with the chicken and season with salt, pepper, and a sprig of thyme. These will give flavor and savor to the soup.

 Ingredients: We need a large free-range chicken (it must be free-range or a hen to ensure it's tasty; this time I used the breasts and back from 2 chickens) for a quantity of 5-6 liters, as well as plenty of vegetables: a few onions, carrots, celery, parsnip, and root parsley (I couldn't find the last one here), a few bay leaves, a red bell pepper, a sprig of fresh thyme, 500 ml of sour cream, 3 egg yolks, salt, whole peppercorns, fresh herbs of your choice (celery, lovage), and 2 cloves of garlic. A tablespoon of magic borscht or pickling juice for souring.
