Strawberry and Banana Smoothie

 Ingredients: -1 banana -10 strawberries of suitable size -3 tablespoons of sugar or honey (I used honey) -60 ml milk -1 glass of ice cubes

To prepare a delicious and healthy drink, we will use a blender, an essential tool in the kitchen that will help us achieve the perfect consistency. We start by choosing the ingredients, which are equally important for obtaining a savory and nutritious combination.

For this recipe, you need: 2 ripe bananas, 1 green apple, 150 ml of natural yogurt or plant-based alternative, 200 ml of water or plant milk, a handful of fresh spinach, a teaspoon of honey (optional), and some ice cubes. These ingredients will not only provide you with a remarkable taste but will also bring a considerable amount of vitamins and minerals to your body.

Once you have gathered all the ingredients, I recommend starting by cutting the bananas and the apple into smaller pieces to facilitate the blending process. You can remove the apple core, but it is important to keep the skin, as it contains many beneficial nutrients. Then, in the blender, add all the ingredients: the sliced bananas, the apple, the yogurt, the water or plant milk, the spinach, and the honey if you want a little extra sweetness.

After adding all the ingredients, you can also add the ice cubes to achieve an even more refreshing drink. Now, close the blender and set it to blending mode. Start at a low speed, then gradually increase until all the ingredients are blended evenly. The blending process should take between 30 seconds and 1 minute, depending on the power of your blender.

After achieving a creamy and homogeneous consistency, you can check if the drink is to your liking. If you prefer a thinner texture, you can add a little more water or plant milk and blend again. On the other hand, if you like a thicker drink, there is no need to add anything.

Once you have obtained the perfect mixture, pour it into a large glass, and for a pleasant decoration, you can add a few fresh mint leaves or slices of fruit on the edge of the glass. This drink is not only healthy and full of nutrients but also extremely refreshing, perfect for hot days or as an energizing breakfast. Enjoy it with pleasure!
