Ingredients:
- 400 g fish fillet (salmon, trout, or cod)
- 1 small onion
- 1 medium carrot
- 2 garlic cloves
- 200 ml cooking cream
- 50 g butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- A small bunch of fresh dill (or parsley)
- Juice from 1/2 lemon

Instructions:

1. Preparing the fish: In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add a pinch of salt and place the fish fillet. Let it boil for about 5 minutes, until cooked but not overdone. Check if it is tender and easily flaked with a fork. Remove the fish from the water and let it cool slightly.

2. Preparing the vegetables: While the fish cools, peel and chop the onion, carrot, and garlic. Make sure all ingredients are finely chopped for even cooking and easy integration into the cream.

3. Sautéing the vegetables: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes until translucent. Then, add the grated carrot and chopped garlic. Continue to sauté together for another 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the carrot is soft.

4. Creating the cream: Once the vegetables are ready, add the cooked fish to the skillet. Use a fork to flake it into small pieces. Then, add the cooking cream, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix everything well, allowing the cream to heat for 2-3 minutes, but do not boil it.

5. Finishing the dish: Once the cream is well mixed, remove the skillet from the heat and add the chopped fresh dill. This will add a fresh and aromatic flavor to your dish.

6. Serving: You can serve the fish cream warm or at room temperature, on slices of toasted bread or savory crackers. It can be an excellent choice for appetizers or festive platters. If desired, you can add a few slices of lemon and some sprigs of dill for a decorative touch.
