Napoleon Cake

 Ingredients: 250 g margarine, 2 cups of sugar, 100 g coconut, 400 g popular cookies, 300 g powdered milk, 1 ½ cups of water, 5 tablespoons of water (for the second cream), 1 package of wafer sheets (5 sheets)

To prepare a delicious recipe for wafer rolls, you will need a few essential ingredients and a bit of patience, but the result will be worth it. We start by caramelizing a cup of sugar. Put the sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly to avoid burning it. When the sugar begins to melt and turns a golden brown, it's time to add one and a half cups of water. Be careful, as the mixture will steam and boil vigorously! After adding the water, stir well to achieve a uniform mixture, then let it cool slightly.

While the sugar mixture cools, crumble the biscuits. You can use a food processor or a rolling pin to turn them into fine crumbs. The crumbled biscuits are added over the caramelized sugar. It is important that the mixture is warm to allow the biscuits to absorb moisture. Take the wafer sheets and spread a thin layer of the biscuit mixture on each sheet to form a tasty base. Let the sheets sit on the table, with the cream on them, while you prepare for the second cream.

To prepare the second cream, bring a cup of sugar and five tablespoons of water to a boil, stirring continuously. Boil the mixture until it turns into a thick syrup. Once the syrup is ready, add the margarine, powdered milk, and coconut. Mix all the ingredients well until you obtain a smooth and homogeneous cream. This will add a note of flavor and texture to your rolls. Divide the obtained cream evenly over the wafer sheets, on top of the biscuit mixture.

After spreading the cream evenly, it is time to form the rolls. Roll each wafer sheet across, not lengthwise, to obtain five delicious rolls. Make sure to twist tightly but carefully, so as not to tear the sheets. The formed rolls can be left in the fridge for a few hours to harden. Once they have cooled, you can cut them into thick slices and enjoy the crunchy texture of the wafer combined with the sweetness of the biscuits and the flavorful cream.
