In the meantime, we take care of the butter. It should be at room temperature for easier mixing. Using a mixer, we start beating the butter until it becomes fluffy and airy. This is the stage where the butter will reveal its full flavor, contributing to the final creaminess of the dessert. Once the butter is ready, we gradually add the cooled chocolate cream along with the rum essence, which will add a special aroma. We carefully mix to integrate all the ingredients, achieving a smooth and homogeneous cream. After obtaining the desired consistency, we place the cream in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes so that it firms up a bit and is easier to spread on the cake.

After we have formed the roll, we turn it upside down and place it on a serving platter.

To finish, we spread the remaining chocolate cream over the outside of the roll. Decoration is an important aspect, so we can let our imagination run wild! We can sprinkle ground nuts, coconut flakes, or add a white chocolate glaze. A sprinkle of powdered sugar at the end can add an elegant touch.
