Citrus and Nectarine Margarita
Ingredients: 6 servings: juice from one lemon, juice from 5 limes, juice from one orange, 2 peeled and sliced nectarines, 200 ml orange liqueur, 200 ml tequila, 600 g ice
To create a refreshing drink, ideal for hot summer days, we will start by combining fresh fruit juices. Choose juices from a variety of fruits, such as oranges, pineapples, strawberries, and mangoes, to get a mix of flavors that will delight your taste buds. Put all the juices in a blender along with a few ice cubes, then blend on high speed until the mixture becomes smooth and similar to a creamy puree.
Once you have achieved the desired consistency, add your preferred alcohol, whether it’s rum, tequila, or vodka, depending on your taste. This will add extra flavor and transform the drink into a festive cocktail. Pulse the mixture a few times, just enough to integrate the alcohol well into the fruit puree.
The preparation is now ready to be served, but not before giving it an attractive appearance. Take the glasses you will use and rub the rim with a fresh slice of lemon. Then, place them upside down on a plate with salt, so that the salt sticks to the rim of the glass, creating a salty rim. This combination of sweet and salty will add a delicious contrast to every sip.
To bring a touch of elegance, decorate the drink with a thin slice of lemon or a piece of lemon peel on the rim of the glass. This detail not only enhances the presentation but also provides an appealing aroma.
This drink is perfect to be enjoyed alongside tortilla chips and salsa, or chips and delicious guacamole. Guacamole, made from creamy avocado, fresh lime, tomatoes, and onion, will perfectly complement your cocktail, creating an unforgettable culinary experience. Whether you’re enjoying an outdoor party or a relaxing evening, this cocktail will surely be the star of the table.
