Vegetable stew

To prepare a delicious and comforting meal using a slow cooker, we start by cutting the meat into appropriately sized cubes so that it cooks evenly. We recommend beef or pork, depending on individual preferences. After cutting the meat, we drizzle it with two tablespoons of olive oil, which will help develop the flavors and achieve a tender texture. Carefully, we place the meat in the slow cooker pot, ensuring it is evenly distributed for optimal cooking.

Next, we set the time for one and a half hours, using the high function of the appliance. During this time, the meat will begin to soften and absorb the flavors from the pot. Meanwhile, we take care of the vegetables. We choose a variety of fresh vegetables, such as carrots, potatoes, peppers, and onions, which we cut into slices or cubes, depending on our preferences. These vegetables will not only add color and flavor to the dish but will also contribute to its consistency.

After the first cooking stage of the meat has passed, we carefully open the lid of the slow cooker and add the chopped vegetables. It is important to season the mixture to taste, to highlight the natural flavors of the ingredients. We also add a generous amount of tomato juice, which will give the dish a note of freshness and sweetness. We gently stir to ensure all the ingredients are well combined, but we are careful not to overmix to avoid destroying the texture of the vegetables.

After adding the vegetables and tomato juice, we cover the pot again and set the time for another hour and a half, still on the high function. It is essential not to lift the lid during this interval, to allow the steam to accumulate and help cook the ingredients evenly. At the end of the cooking time, we open the lid and enjoy the delicious aroma that will fill the entire room. Our dish is now ready to be served.
