The first step is to place the bowl with chocolate and butter over a pot of boiling water. This process, known as bain-marie, will help you melt the ingredients without burning them. Stir occasionally until you achieve a smooth and creamy mixture. The aroma of melted chocolate will fill the kitchen and make you feel like a true pastry master.
