To make a delicious and savory dessert, we start by preparing the necessary ingredients. Make sure you have 200 grams of quality butter, 200 grams of dark chocolate, 150 grams of sugar, 100 milliliters of milk, 150 grams of flour, 50 grams of cocoa powder, a packet of baking powder, and 3 fresh eggs.
The first step in this delicious recipe is to melt the butter together with the chocolate. You can do this either in a double boiler using a glass bowl placed over a pot of hot water, or in the microwave, being careful to stir occasionally to prevent burning. Once the butter and chocolate are completely melted and combined, add the sugar and milk. Mix well until the sugar is completely dissolved, then let the mixture cool slightly.
After the mixture has cooled, it’s time to add the dry ingredients. Start by sifting the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder into a separate bowl. This will help avoid lumps and ensure a fine texture for the cake. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring continuously. Finally, incorporate the eggs one at a time, making sure each egg is well integrated into the batter before adding the next. Mix everything until you achieve a smooth, lump-free, homogeneous mixture.
Prepare a baking tray, which you can line with parchment paper, ensuring it covers the bottom and sides of the tray well. Carefully pour the prepared mixture into the tray, leveling the surface with a spatula to ensure the cake bakes evenly. Then, place the tray in the preheated oven at a moderate temperature, around 180 degrees Celsius. Bake the cake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the surface is firm and a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
Once the cake is baked, let it cool in the tray for a few minutes, then carefully transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. This cake will have a very tender texture and an intense chocolate flavor, perfect to be served plain or with a dusting of powdered sugar on top.
