To prepare a delicious dish with meat and vegetables, we will start by preparing all the necessary ingredients. So, make sure you have beef or chicken on hand, depending on your preferences. Cut the meat into cubes of about 3-4 cm, making sure they are uniform so they cook evenly. In a bowl, mix the meat cubes with a tablespoon of dried thyme, which will add a special flavor to the dish.

Heat a non-stick pan over low heat, where we will add the meat without oil, letting it release its natural juices. It is important to cook the meat slowly, allowing it to change color and develop its flavor. After a few minutes, when the meat starts to brown slightly, add the sliced onion. The onion will soften and contribute to creating a delicious sauce.

After about 5 minutes, when the onion becomes translucent, add the liver cut into large cubes. This will require a cooking time of about 7-8 minutes, during which it will steam, perfectly blending with the flavors of the meat and onion. Meanwhile, we take care of the tomatoes. We peel them, and then slice them. They will add a fresh taste and pleasant acidity to the dish.

Add the sliced tomatoes over the meat, stirring gently to integrate them into the mixture. Now it’s time to season the dish. Add salt and pepper to taste, but also a piece of freshly grated ginger, which will provide a hint of spiciness. Don’t forget the cinnamon stick, which will add a subtle aromatic note typical of more elaborate dishes.

Let everything simmer for about 10 minutes, until the sauce reduces and thickens, coating the meat and vegetables in a delicious glaze. Once the sauce reaches the desired consistency, turn off the heat and remove the cinnamon stick. Finally, sprinkle fresh chopped parsley on top, which will add an extra freshness and color to our dish. Served warm, this dish will surely delight the taste buds of those sitting at the table.
