Place the bowl over medium heat and stir continuously to prevent the ingredients from sticking to the bottom of the bowl. It is important to cook the mixture until it reaches boiling point, at which point it will form a thick, glossy cream. Boil the obtained cream for a few minutes, then allow it to cool slightly, but not completely.

Meanwhile, in the remaining half of the cream, add the ground nuts, flour, egg yolks, baking powder, and chosen flavors. Mix all the ingredients well, ensuring a homogeneous composition. In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Then, carefully fold them into the chocolate mixture using a spatula, to maintain the air in the egg whites, which will make the batter fluffy and light.

Once you have obtained a uniform composition, grease a baking tray with butter and dust it with flour to prevent sticking. Pour the mixture into the tray and place it in the preheated oven at a medium temperature. Let the batter bake for about 30-40 minutes, or until it passes the toothpick test (when the toothpick comes out clean from the center). At this stage, your house will be filled with an irresistible chocolate aroma.

Once the batter is baked, let it cool slightly in the tray, then carefully remove it to avoid breaking. You can use a knife to loosen the edges if necessary. Once the batter has completely cooled, cut it into equal-sized cubes.

Now comes the fun part! Each cube of batter will be dipped in the remaining cream, ensuring it is well coated. Then, roll each cube in ground nuts or coconut, depending on your preferences. This coating will add a pleasant contrast between the soft texture of the batter and the crunchiness of the nuts.
