Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooling time: 10 minutes
Total time: 25 minutes
Servings: 4
Ingredients:
- 1 red grapefruit
- 1 apple
- 2 clementines
- 2 kiwis
- 1 pomegranate (seeds)
- 1 bunch of grapes (preferably red)
- 100 g sugar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 50 g butter
- 12 ladyfingers
- 250 ml Hulala cream
Step 1: Preparing the fruits
Start by washing all the fruits well. Peel the grapefruit, apple, kiwi, and clementines, removing any seeds. Cut them into small cubes so they blend perfectly in your mix. For the pomegranate, carefully extract the seeds, and the grapes can be left whole or halved, depending on your preference.
Step 2: Caramelizing the fruits
In a double-bottomed pot (to prevent sticking), add the sugar and let it melt over medium heat, stirring occasionally. When the sugar turns golden, add the honey and butter, stirring continuously to achieve a smooth mixture. Then, add the prepared fruits. Gently mix, cover the pot with a lid, and let the mixture cook for about 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Step 3: Cooling the mixture
After the fruits have soaked in the caramel, remove the pot from the heat and let the mixture cool. This step is essential to avoid melting the whipped cream when you add it.
Step 4: Preparing the cream
In a separate bowl, whip the Hulala cream until it becomes firm. Make sure the bowl and whisk are cold to achieve perfect whipped cream.
Step 5: Assembling the dessert
Prepare cups or individual dishes. In each cup, place 2-3 tablespoons of the caramelized fruit mixture, then add some pieces of ladyfingers. Continue alternating layers of fruit and ladyfingers until the cups are filled. Finally, generously top with whipped cream.
Step 6: Decorating
For an attractive look, decorate each cup with grated chocolate, colorful sprinkles, or a chocolate sauce. These details will not only enhance the appearance but also add extra flavor.
Serving suggestion: This quick dessert with caramelized fruits is ideal to serve immediately but can be kept in the refrigerator for a few hours until ready to serve.
