To prepare a delicious layered cake with caramel, we will start by making the two layers. In a large bowl, we will combine the necessary ingredients to obtain a fine dough, using eggs, sugar, flour, and a little baking powder. We mix well until the composition becomes homogeneous and fluffy. Then, we divide the dough into two equal parts and roll them out on two baking trays lined with parchment paper. Once we ensure that the layers are ready, we bake them in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 10-12 minutes, or until they become golden and elastic. Meanwhile, we can prepare the caramel. In a saucepan, we melt the sugar over low heat, stirring constantly to prevent burning. Once the sugar has turned into a golden caramel, we carefully add water, stirring vigorously to achieve a fluid consistency. We let the caramel boil for a few minutes, then pour it evenly over each baked layer.

After the caramel has hardened, we come with a delicious layer of cream. This is prepared according to the instructions on the package, but for an extra flavor and texture, we also add melted margarine. We mix well until the cream becomes smooth and creamy. We apply a first layer of cream over the first layer, then place the pieces of Naty side by side, forming a rich chocolate base. We continue with another layer of cream, ensuring it is evenly distributed, then place the second layer with the caramel facing the cream.

To finish the cake, we cover everything with a thin layer of cream, which will help hold the ingredients together. On top, we sprinkle coconut or grated chocolate, depending on our preferences, for an attractive appearance and intense flavor. The cake should be left to cool, ideally overnight, to allow the caramel to melt and integrate into the cream layer. This way, the slices can be cut easily.
