Ingredients: 1 tablespoon of butter 1 chicken breast, cut into pieces 1 large onion, chopped 1 home apple, diced 1 tablespoon of Kotanyi curry 1 liter of chicken broth (I always keep a box in the freezer) 3 tablespoons of long grain rice 1 teaspoon of lemon juice 3 tablespoons of cooking cream salt, pepper 1 teaspoon of homemade vegeta (optional)

To prepare this delicious recipe, we start by ensuring that we have all the ingredients ready and at hand. It is important to have 200 grams of butter, one large onion, one sweet apple, 500 grams of chicken cut into pieces, two tablespoons of curry powder, one liter of chicken or vegetable broth, 200 grams of rice, salt, pepper, and homemade vegeta to taste. Also, for a creamy and flavorful finish, don't forget the juice of one lemon and 200 milliliters of cooking cream.

We begin by placing the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Let it melt slowly to preserve its aroma and texture. Once the butter is liquid and starts to sizzle lightly, add the finely chopped onion and the peeled and diced apple. Mix well so that the onion softens and becomes translucent, and the apple caramelizes a little. This mixture will bring a subtle sweetness and a special fragrance to your dish.

After the onion and apple have started to brown, add the chicken pieces. Lightly salt and pepper the meat, stirring to brown it evenly. Let the chicken cook well until a golden crust forms on all sides. This step is essential to develop the rich flavors of the dish.

When the chicken is ready, sprinkle in the curry powder and mix to coat the meats well with the spices. Let it fry together for a minute so that the flavors intensify. Then, add the chicken broth and rice, stirring gently to combine the ingredients. Bring everything to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and cover the pot with a lid.

Let the mixture simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and has absorbed almost all the broth, and the chicken is tender. In the last minutes of cooking, check the taste and add homemade vegeta, salt, and pepper to your liking. Once the heat is off, strain the lemon juice to add a fresh note and finally add the cooking cream, stirring gently to achieve a creamy texture.

Serve the dish warm, garnished with freshly chopped parsley, alongside a green salad or steamed vegetables. This recipe is perfect for a family dinner or to impress guests, and the combination of curry, apple, and chicken will turn every meal into a feast of flavors. Enjoy your meal!
