To prepare these delicious crescent rolls with Turkish delight, we start by activating the yeast, an essential ingredient that will provide a fluffy and airy texture. In a small bowl, we combine 7 grams of dry yeast with 3 tablespoons of lukewarm water, adding also 1 teaspoon of sugar. We mix gently and let the mixture sit for 5 minutes, until a foam forms on top, a sign that the yeast is active.

Meanwhile, in another container, we mix the remaining lukewarm water (about 200 ml) with 50 ml of oil to obtain a homogeneous emulsion. In a taller bowl, we bring together 500 grams of white flour, 1 pinch of salt, and the activated yeast. All the ingredients are combined, and then we add the oil and water emulsion. We start kneading the dough by hand, applying even pressure until we obtain an elastic and homogeneous dough that pulls away from the sides of the bowl.

Once the dough is well kneaded, we cover it with plastic wrap and let it rise in a warm place, away from drafts, for about 30 minutes. It is important for the dough to double in volume, which will contribute to obtaining tender and fluffy crescent rolls.

After the dough has risen, we prepare to shape it. We roll out a thin sheet, about 5 mm thick, on a floured surface. Using a knife or a cutter, we cut the sheet into triangles or rectangles, depending on preference. On each piece of dough, we place a piece of Turkish delight, which will add a note of sweetness and delicious flavor. We roll each triangle tightly, making sure to seal the edges well to prevent the filling from leaking out during baking.

We line a baking tray with parchment paper and arrange the formed crescent rolls, leaving enough space between them to puff up during baking. We preheat the oven to a medium temperature (about 180°C) and bake the crescent rolls for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden and nicely browned on top.

After removing them from the oven, we let them cool slightly, then dust them with powdered sugar to give them an elegant appearance and additional sweetness. These crescent rolls with Turkish delight are very tender and aromatic, being ideal for both breakfast and a sweet snack. Enjoy them with a cup of tea or coffee for an unforgettable culinary experience!
