Egg liqueur

 Ingredients: 3 egg yolks, 300 g sugar, 2 packets of vanilla sugar, 1/2 l milk, 250 ml refined alcohol

To prepare a delicious drink that will delight the taste buds, we will start by preparing the necessary ingredients. It is essential to use quality ingredients to achieve a result that meets expectations. In a large bowl, separate the yolks from the egg whites, making sure that the latter do not contain traces of yolk, to avoid any issues in the preparation process. The yolks are whisked well with granulated sugar using a whisk or a mixer on medium speed until the mixture becomes creamy and a deep yellow color. It is important that the sugar dissolves completely so that the final texture is smooth.

Once we have obtained a homogeneous paste, we add the packets of vanilla sugar, which will give an aromatic flavor and a special note to our drink. We continue mixing, and then add the boiled and cooled milk, which will bring a pleasant consistency and natural sweetness. It is recommended that the milk be organic, as it will significantly influence the final aroma. We mix well, ensuring that all the sugar has melted and that we have obtained a uniform composition.

The next step is to add refined alcohol, preferably 96 degrees, which will enhance the aroma of the drink and help preserve it. Using a wooden spoon or a whisk, we incorporate the alcohol into the mixture, being careful not to create foam. It is important to respect the proportions to achieve a balanced drink that is neither too strong nor too weak.

After we have completed the mixture, we prepare glass bottles that we will use to store the drink. It is recommended to sterilize them before use to prevent any contamination. We carefully pour the mixture into the bottles, leaving a little space at the top for expansion. Once filled, we seal the bottles tightly with appropriate corks and place them in the pantry, in a dark and cool place, where they can mature and develop flavors for a few weeks. This drink can be enjoyed as is or used in various desserts, adding a touch of flavor and refinement to any festive meal.
