Breaded Shrimp
Ingredients: 250 g peeled shrimp, 2 eggs, flour, seasoning, pepper, oil for frying, a few sprigs of dill.
To prepare a delicious recipe for breaded shrimp, start by preparing the eggs. In a large bowl, crack a few eggs, preferably fresh, and beat them well with a fork or a whisk. Add a teaspoon of Delikat to enhance the flavor and give a special taste to the mixture. Next, finely chop a handful of fresh dill, which will add a fresh note and an irresistible aroma. Add the chopped dill to the bowl with the eggs and mix well to combine the flavors.
The next step is to gradually incorporate the flour. Add a tablespoon of flour at a time and mix constantly until you achieve a creamy mixture, similar to thick sour cream. It is important not to add too much flour at once, as you want to achieve a fine and even texture. The mixture should be thick enough to stick to the shrimp, but not so thick that it becomes heavy.
While preparing the mixture, take the shrimp with tails and carefully remove the tails. These shrimp will be much easier to handle and serve. After cleaning the shrimp, season them with salt, pepper, and optionally, a pinch of sweet or spicy paprika, depending on your preferences. These spices will add a special taste and highlight the seafood flavor.
Once you have seasoned the shrimp, take each shrimp and dip it in the egg and dill mixture, ensuring it is well coated on all sides. Then, heat a pan with oil over medium heat. Make sure the oil is hot but not smoking, to avoid burning. Place the shrimp in the pan and fry them on each side until they become golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
When ready, remove the shrimp onto a plate lined with paper towels to absorb the excess oil. Now you have a delicious dish, perfect to be served as an appetizer or as a main course alongside a fresh salad or a yogurt sauce with garlic and dill. Enjoy the crispy shrimp, accompanied by freshly squeezed lemon, which will add a touch of acidity and perfectly complement their taste. Bon appétit!
