- 125 g margarine (we recommend Rama margarine, but any quality margarine will work)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 60 g ground nuts
- 160-170 g flour

For the cream and glaze:
- 100 ml unsweetened liquid cream (we recommend Pilos brand from Lidl for better taste)
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 100 g dark chocolate

For decoration:
- Colored sprinkles

Preparation:

1. Preparing the chocolate cream
Start by preparing the cream. In a saucepan, add the liquid cream and sugar. Place over medium heat and stir constantly until the mixture begins to boil. Once it boils, remove the saucepan from the heat and add the chopped chocolate. Stir well until the chocolate completely melts and the cream becomes smooth. Transfer the cream to a container and refrigerate for 2-3 hours until it cools and firms up.

2. Preparing the cookie dough
In a large bowl, cream the margarine with a pinch of salt, sugar, and vanilla sugar until you get a creamy mixture. Add the ground nuts and water, continuing to mix. Start incorporating the flour mixed with baking powder until the dough becomes smooth. At first, you can use a spoon, but in the end, you will need to use your hands. Sprinkle flour on the working surface and knead the dough until you achieve a tender texture.

3. Chilling the dough
Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for one hour. This step is essential to allow the dough to firm up, making it easier for you to cut it out.

4. Cutting and baking the cookies
After the dough has chilled, let it return to room temperature for about 10 minutes. Then, on a floured surface, roll out the dough to about 0.5 cm thick. Use a cutter or a glass to cut out round shapes. Place the cookies on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 175 degrees Celsius for about 15 minutes, or until they turn slightly golden.

5. Assembling the cookies
Once the cookies have completely cooled, take the cream out of the fridge and mix it well. Set aside 2 tablespoons of cream for glazing. Use a knife to spread chocolate cream on half of the cookies, then place another cookie on top of each one, gently pressing to stick them together.

6. Glazing the cookies
Heat the reserved cream in the microwave for 15 seconds, then use it to glaze the cookies on top. Sprinkle colored sprinkles to give them a festive and attractive look.
