To prepare a delicious apricot tart, the first steps begin with the dough. Use 250 g of flour, 125 g of margarine, 100 g of sugar, and a small amount of cold water, about 50 ml. In a large bowl, place the sifted flour and add the margarine cut into cubes. Mix well with your fingers until you achieve a texture similar to fine sand. This will ensure a tender and pleasant dough. Then, gradually add the sugar and water, kneading gently to form a homogeneous dough. When the dough is ready, shape it into a ball, wrap it in cling film, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, prepare the tart pan. Choose a pan with a removable bottom or one that opens easily, so you can remove the tart without problems after baking. Grease the pan with a thin layer of oil to prevent the dough from sticking. After the dough has rested, take it out of the refrigerator and roll it out on a floured surface until it reaches a thickness of about 3-4 mm. Place the rolled dough in the prepared pan, making sure to cover the edges well.

Now, it's time to add the filling. Spread a generous layer of apricot jam over the surface of the dough, ensuring it is evenly distributed. Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the jam; this will absorb the fruit juice during baking and keep the dough crispy and tasty. Next, prepare the apricots. Choose ripe but firm apricots, and cut them in half. Arrange them cut-side down over the entire surface of the tart for an attractive appearance.

Sprinkle the remaining sugar over the apricots, which will help form a delicious crust during baking. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius, then place the pan in the oven for 10 minutes at high heat. After this interval, reduce the temperature to 180 degrees Celsius and let the tart bake for another 30-35 minutes, until the dough turns golden and the apricots are tender.

Once the tart has completely cooled, carefully remove it from the pan. For an elegant finish, sprinkle powdered sugar mixed with vanilla sugar on top. Optionally, you can also add a layer of clear jelly for extra shine and refined taste. This apricot tart, with its tender dough and juicy filling, is perfect to be enjoyed alongside a cup of tea or a fragrant coffee. Enjoy your meal!
