Apple Tart
Ingredients: For the dough you need the following ingredients: 5 eggs, 5 tablespoons of sugar, 5 tablespoons of flour, one packet of vanilla sugar. For the filling I used: 10 apples, 400g of sugar, one pack of butter, vanilla essence, 100ml of water.
To prepare a delicious apple tart, we will start by gathering all the necessary ingredients so that we have everything at hand. You will need about 500 grams of apples, 200 grams of sugar, 100 grams of butter, 250 grams of flour, 3 eggs, 1 packet of baking powder, 50 milliliters of milk, a pinch of salt, and a teaspoon of ground cinnamon, which will add a special flavor to the mixture.
The first step in making the tart is to prepare the sugar syrup. In a saucepan, we melt the sugar, stirring constantly to prevent burning. It is important to pay attention to the color of the sugar, which should turn light brown, a sign that it is ready. When we reach this shade, we carefully add the water and butter, stirring continuously until all the sugar dissolves completely and the syrup becomes homogeneous.
After the syrup has cooled slightly, we prepare to add the apples. We peel the apples and slice them thinly. We add them to the saucepan and gently sauté them in the warm syrup, stirring lightly to ensure they are evenly coated. The apples should become soft and absorb the flavors of the syrup, and this process will take about 10-15 minutes. After the mixture has cooled, we take care of the batter composition.
In a large bowl, we beat the eggs with a pinch of salt, gradually adding the remaining sugar. We continue to mix until the mixture becomes frothy and light in color. Then, we incorporate the sifted flour along with the baking powder and cinnamon, alternating with the milk, until we obtain a homogeneous dough. It is important not to mix too much to avoid making the crust dense.
Now, we prepare the baking dish for the tart. We pour the apple and syrup mixture into the bottom of the dish, ensuring that an even base is formed. On top of this, we carefully add the batter composition, spreading it evenly. We place the dish in the preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius and bake the tart for about 30-35 minutes, or until the crust turns golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
After the tart is baked, we let it cool slightly in the dish. It is important to be careful when flipping it over, as the syrup may spill. Using a large plate, we gently flip the tart onto this plate, admiring its beauty and shine. We slice the tart as desired and can serve it warm or at room temperature, alongside a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream, for an extra touch of flavor. This apple tart will surely become a favorite among loved ones!
