We start our culinary adventure with a delicious recipe for fluffy croissants filled with Nutella or jam, perfect for a savory breakfast or a sweet snack. The first step in making these treats is to prepare our ingredients. In the bowl of the food processor, we combine the yeast with the flour, mixing them well to ensure they are uniform. We let this mixture sit for 15 minutes, giving the yeast a chance to start the activation process.

After 15 minutes, we add the fresh eggs, granulated sugar, lukewarm milk, and our favorite flavors, such as vanilla or orange essence, to enhance the dough's flavor. Melted butter, but not hot, is added to the mixture, giving the dough a rich and soft texture. We continue to mix the ingredients until the dough begins to come together. Now it’s time to sprinkle in the salt, which will intensify the flavors and provide a balanced note to the preparation.

We knead the dough for about 10 minutes until we achieve a smooth, fine, and slightly sticky dough that pulls away from the sides of the bowl. We cover the bowl with a clean towel and let the dough rise for 1 hour, maybe even 1 hour and a half, in a warm place away from drafts. This time is essential for flavor development and achieving a fluffy texture.

Once the dough has risen beautifully, we transfer it to a lightly floured work surface. We roll it out into round sheets, taking care to maintain an even thickness. Then, we cut each sheet into eight triangles. At the base of each triangle, we place a teaspoon of Nutella or jam, choosing our preferred filling. We then roll the triangles from base to tip, forming appetizing croissants.

We place the croissants on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, making sure to leave space between them to allow for rising. We cover the tray again and let the croissants rise for another 15 minutes, to become even fluffier. After this time, we brush each croissant with a mixture of diluted egg yolk and a little milk to achieve a golden and shiny crust when baked.

We preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius, and when it's ready, we place the tray with the croissants inside. Baking will take about 20-25 minutes, during which the croissants will brown beautifully, becoming extremely appealing. Once baked, we take them out of the oven and let them cool slightly before enjoying. These fluffy croissants, with their delicious filling, will bring smiles to the faces of our loved ones!
