Tagliatelle with Chicken and Mushrooms
This pasta recipe with chicken breast and vegetables is not only quick but also extremely tasty, perfect for a delicious dinner on busy days. The recipe can be prepared in less than 30 minutes, making it ideal for those who want to enjoy a warm meal without spending hours in the kitchen. All you need is some pre-cooked chicken breast, a few fresh vegetables, and pasta, and the result will be as simple as it is flavorful.
We start by thoroughly washing the leek and bell pepper, then slicing them thinly. These vegetables will add a pleasant aroma and a crunchy texture to the final dish. In a pan, we pour a little olive oil and heat it over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, we add the leek and bell pepper and sauté them for about 5 minutes until they become soft and slightly translucent.
Meanwhile, we take care of the mushrooms. We wash them under a stream of cold water to remove any impurities, then slice them and add them to the pan. The aroma of the mushrooms will perfectly combine with the other vegetables. This is the ideal time to boil the pasta in a pot of salted water, according to the package instructions.
After the mushrooms have started to brown slightly, we add oregano, cream, a little flour, and water to the pan. We mix everything well until the ingredients blend into a creamy sauce. We season with salt and pepper to taste, then add half of the grated Parmesan cheese along with the sliced chicken breast. We let the dish simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes until the sauce thickens. If we notice that the sauce has thickened too much, we can add two tablespoons of water, stirring constantly.
When the pasta is cooked, we drain it and add it to the pan, mixing well to ensure it is evenly coated with the delicious sauce. Finally, we sprinkle the remaining Parmesan on top and, for an extra burst of flavor, we can add a few slices of chili pepper if we like it spicy. This pasta recipe is not only a great way to use leftover chicken breast but also an opportunity to enjoy a dish full of flavor and vibrant colors. Enjoy your meal!
