Preparation time: 30 minutes
Rising time: 60 minutes
Baking time: 45-50 minutes
Total: 2 hours
Number of servings: 2 loaves

Necessary ingredients:

For the dough:
- 3 tablespoons of margarine (at room temperature)
- 200 g sugar
- 1 and a half cups of sparkling water
- Grated peel of one orange
- 1 cube of fresh yeast (25 g)
- 1 vanilla essence
- A drop of yellow food coloring (optional)
- 1 kg and 100 g of flour

For the filling:
- 1 bowl full of walnut meat (about 300-400 g)
- 1 rum essence
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
- Soy milk (for soaking)
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- 5-6 tablespoons of powdered sugar

For the syrup:
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- Half a cup of water

Preparation instructions:

1. Preparing the dough: Start by mixing the margarine with the sugar in a large bowl. Use a mixer to ensure the sugar melts and the mixture becomes creamy. Add sparkling water and mix well.

2. Activating the yeast: In a small bowl, rub the yeast with a teaspoon of sugar until it liquefies. Add the activated yeast to the margarine mixture, along with the orange peel, vanilla essence, and yellow coloring. Mix well.

3. Adding the flour: Gradually incorporate the flour, mixing constantly, until the dough becomes non-sticky. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes on a floured surface. This step is crucial, as proper kneading will ensure a fluffy texture.

4. Let the dough rise: Place the dough in a bowl covered with a clean towel and let it rise in a warm place for about an hour or until it doubles in volume.

5. Preparing the filling: Finely chop the walnut meat using a food processor. Mix it in a bowl with the rum essence, vanilla sugar, cocoa powder, and powdered sugar. Gradually add soy milk until you achieve a creamy and homogeneous paste.

6. Shaping the loaves: Sprinkle flour on the work surface. Divide the dough into two equal parts. Roll out each piece with a rolling pin until you get thin sheets. Spread each sheet with the walnut filling and roll tightly.

7. Preparing the baking pans: Grease the baking pans with a little oil and line them with parchment paper. Place the loaves in the pans and let them rise for another 15 minutes.

8. Preparing the syrup: In a saucepan, caramelize one tablespoon of sugar until golden, then add half a cup of water. Let it boil for a few minutes to combine.

9. Baking: Preheat the oven to 180°C. Brush the loaves with the caramelized syrup and place them in the oven. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden and pass the toothpick test.

10. Cooling and serving: Once done, remove the loaves from the oven and let them cool in the pans. Serve them with a cup of tea or coffee, or simply enjoy them as they are, to fully appreciate the flavors of the nuts and orange.

Personal suggestion: You can add raisins or chocolate pieces to the filling for an extra flavor boost! This nut-filled Easter bread will surely become the star of any meal! Enjoy your meal!
