Avocado cream with smoked salmon is a refined and delicious appetizer, perfect for any special occasion or simply to bring a touch of elegance to the everyday table. We start by preparing the necessary ingredients. The avocados need to be ripe, so that the flesh is creamy and easy to blend. Therefore, we choose quality avocados and ensure they are in optimal condition.

The first step is to cut the avocado in half lengthwise and carefully remove the pit. Using a spoon, we scoop out the flesh from each half and place it in the mixing bowl. It is important to ensure that no remnants are left in the skin, as every gram of flesh counts. Once we have obtained the flesh, we pour freshly squeezed lemon juice over it. This will not only prevent the avocado from oxidizing but will also add a note of freshness to our dish.

We blend everything until we get a smooth and homogeneous paste. When the avocado cream is ready, we transfer it to a bowl. Here, we add sour cream, which will give it a creamier texture and a richer taste. We also finely chop about 100g of smoked salmon, which we incorporate into our cream. It is essential to choose quality salmon to achieve a truly delicious dish.

We season the mixture with salt, chili powder to taste, and a bit of grated lemon zest to enhance the flavor. We mix everything with a spatula, being careful not to break down the salmon too much. Once we have obtained a homogeneous and well-seasoned paste, we prepare to serve.

The remaining smoked salmon is cut into thin slices, which we will use for decoration. We place the avocado cream in glasses or cups, filling them generously. On top, we carefully lay a slice of smoked salmon, adding a sophisticated touch to the dish.

For an extra presentation, we can decorate with a few sprigs of fresh dill or a thin slice of lemon. It is important that the appetizer is served well chilled to maintain its freshness and enhance the flavors. This dish can be kept covered with plastic wrap, but not more than 24 hours, to maintain quality.
