To prepare a delicious dish, we start with the meat, which must be of high quality. We will salt it evenly, ensuring that each piece is well covered to enhance its flavor. Then, in a heated pan, we pour a splash of oil, enough to cover the bottom of the pan. We carefully place the meat in the pan and, to give it a special taste, we sprinkle our favorite spices. Whether we choose paprika, thyme, rosemary, or even a mix of Provencal herbs, it is essential to let our imagination run wild.

Next, we take care of the vegetables. We slice the onion thinly, chop the bell pepper and the sweet pepper into cubes, and cut the carrot into rounds. These vegetables will add not only an enriched taste but also a palette of colors to the plate. Once the vegetables are prepared, we add them to the pan, gently mixing them with the meat.

To add extra flavor, we pour in a cup of red wine or water, depending on our preferences. The wine will bring a complex taste, while the water will help with even cooking. We cover the pan with aluminum foil, ensuring that the steam stays trapped inside, and place everything in the preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 40 minutes.

In the meantime, we take care of the potatoes. We carefully peel them, wash them well under cold water to remove impurities, and then cut them into rounds about 1 cm thick. In a skillet, we pour a little oil and add the sliced potatoes. We stir to coat them evenly with oil. From time to time, we add a little water, covering the skillet with a lid, so that the potatoes soften and become tender.

As the potatoes cook, we season them with salt, pepper, and for an extra touch of freshness, we add finely chopped greens - parsley or dill, depending on personal preferences. When the meat is cooked and the vegetables are tender, we will have a savory, aromatic, and appetizing dish.

Finally, we serve the meat alongside the potatoes, garnishing the plate with a few leaves of greens for a pleasant appearance. Enjoy your meal!
