Preparation time: 30 minutes
Cooking time: 1 hour
Total time: 1 hour 30 minutes
Servings: 6

Ingredients:
- 500 g pork tenderloin (fat-free)
- 6 medium potatoes
- 2 large onions or 4 small ones
- 1 carrot
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
- Sea salt (to taste)
- Chili (to taste)
- Pepper (to taste)
- Tomato paste / canned tomatoes / tomato juice / 3 peeled tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 bay leaf
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
- 6 large rolls (for serving)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the ingredients: Start by cutting the pork tenderloin into cubes of about 2 cm. This will help with even cooking. Chop the onion, carrot, and bell pepper finely, and peel and cube the potatoes. It is essential to have all ingredients prepared before starting to cook.

2. Sear the meat: In a large skillet, heat 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the meat cubes and fry them until browned on all sides. This step will not only enhance the flavor but also provide a pleasant texture. Don’t forget to season with salt, pepper, and chili to taste.

3. Add the vegetables: Once the meat is well browned, add the chopped onion. Sauté the onion for 5-7 minutes until it becomes translucent. Then, add the carrot and bell pepper, continuing to cook for another 5 minutes.

4. Season and thicken the sauce: Sprinkle sweet paprika over the meat and vegetable mixture, then add the flour. This will help thicken the sauce. Mix well to combine the ingredients. Then add the tomato paste or peeled tomatoes and 1-2 cups of water or beef broth. Add the bay leaf and let it simmer on low heat for about 30-40 minutes until the meat is tender and the sauce has thickened.

5. Cook the potatoes: Meanwhile, boil the cubed potatoes in salted water until they become soft. Drain them and add them to the goulash in the last 10 minutes of cooking. This will allow the flavors to blend perfectly.

6. Prepare the rolls: Cut the top off each roll and hollow out the inside slightly, leaving a thin layer of bread. These will become delicious bowls for serving the goulash.

7. Serving: Fill each roll with hot goulash and garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately, alongside a fresh green salad or pickles for a contrast of textures.

Variation suggestions: You can experiment with different types of meat, such as beef or chicken, or you can add mushrooms to enhance the flavor. Also, replacing the bread with a whole grain roll can provide a more rustic taste.

This bread goulash is not just a meal, but a culinary experience that will bring joy to every table. Enjoy it with your loved ones and cherish the moments spent together!
