- 400 g sausages (preferably fresh pork or chicken sausages)
- 300 g mushrooms (champignon or other preferred mushrooms)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish

Step 1: Preparing the Ingredients
Start by washing the mushrooms under cold running water, then slice them thinly. Chop the onion finely, and crush or finely chop the garlic cloves. These ingredients will add extra flavor to your dish.

Step 2: Cooking the Sausages
In a non-stick pan, add the two tablespoons of olive oil and heat over medium heat. Then, place the sausages cut in half (or left whole, as preferred) and fry for 5-7 minutes until they become golden and crispy on the outside. Make sure to turn them on all sides for even cooking.

Step 3: Adding the Mushrooms
After the sausages are fried, add the chopped onion and garlic. Cook together for 2-3 minutes until the onion becomes translucent.
