If you are looking for a simple and quick recipe to delight your family or friends, this warm toast bread recipe is exactly what you need. With a crispy crust and a fluffy crumb, this bread is perfect for breakfast or to be enjoyed with various toppings. Follow the steps below and discover the secrets to delicious bread!

Ingredients:
- 500 g white flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 7 g dry yeast
- 300 ml lukewarm water (about 30-35 degrees Celsius)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil (plus extra for greasing)
- Optional: seeds (sesame, pumpkin) for decoration

Step 1: Preparing the ingredients
Make sure all the ingredients are at room temperature. This is essential for optimal yeast activation. The flour, salt, sugar, and yeast will combine much better if they are at the same temperature.

Step 2: Mixing the dry ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, and sugar. Mix well with a spatula or wooden spoon to ensure the ingredients are evenly distributed.

Step 3: Activating the yeast
In another bowl, add the dry yeast to the lukewarm water. Let the mixture sit for 5-10 minutes until a foam forms on the surface. This is a sign that the yeast is active and ready to do its job.

Step 4: Combining the ingredients
Once the yeast is activated, pour the water mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Add the olive oil as well. Use a spatula to combine the ingredients, then start kneading the dough with your hands. If the dough is too sticky, add a little flour at a time, but be careful not to overdo it.

Step 5: Kneading the dough
Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. A trick to check if the dough is ready is to do the happy test: stretch a piece of dough and see if it can stretch without tearing.

Step 6: First rise
Form a ball from the dough and grease a bowl with a little olive oil. Place the dough in the bowl and cover it with a damp towel. Let it rise in a warm place, away from drafts, for 1 hour or until it doubles in volume.

Step 7: Shaping the bread
After the dough has risen, take it out of the bowl and gently knead it to remove the air. Shape it into a long loaf or into individual shapes, as desired. Place the bread on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Step 8: Second rise
Cover the bread again with a towel and let it rise for 30 minutes. During this time, preheat the oven to 220°C.

Step 9: Baking the bread
Once it has risen, you can decorate the bread with seeds if you wish. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake the bread for 25-30 minutes until golden and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.

Step 10: Cooling and serving
Once the bread is baked, remove it from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack. It is delicious warm, but also good cold. You can serve it with butter, jam, or even make a savory sandwich.

Personal suggestion: You can add herbs (oregano, rosemary) to the dough for extra flavor. You can also experiment with whole wheat flour or different seeds for a unique texture and taste.

This warm toast bread recipe is not only simple but also versatile. Whether you enjoy it for breakfast or as a snack, it is a true culinary delight!

ALL INGREDIENTS MUST BE AT ROOM TEMPERATURE 1. I put flour with salt, sugar, and yeast in a bowl and mixed well. 2. I added the egg, then the milk and butter, and kneaded. 3. I took it out of the bowl, and without flour, I started to slap it on the table, to knead it. 4. Due to the butter, the dough does not stick. 5. After kneading for about a quarter of an hour, I put it back in the bowl to rise in a warm place for about 35 minutes. I didn't let the dough rise for a specific time; I just let it puff up. 6. Then, I placed the dough in the mold and let it rise a little more, for a total of about 45 minutes, after which I put it in the oven. Enjoy your meal!
