Stuffed Baguette

To prepare a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer, we will start by taking care of the baguette's core. We remove the core with a sharp knife or through a more manual method, using our fingers to avoid breaking the crust. The obtained core is finely crumbled, being careful not to leave too large pieces, as we want to improve the texture of the filling.

In a sufficiently large bowl, we will mash the eggs with a fork. This will allow for better homogenization of the ingredients. Once the eggs are well beaten, we add the cream cheese, which will provide a pleasant creaminess to the filling. We continue with the melted cheese, which will add a savory taste and a velvety texture. Then, we add a tablespoon of mustard, which will give a spicy accent and balance the flavors. We don't forget about the olives, which we can chop finely or leave whole, depending on preferences.

After integrating all the ingredients, it's time to taste the mixture and adjust it with salt and pepper, ensuring we achieve a balanced flavor. Now, we carefully fill the void in the middle of the baguettes with this delicious filling, making sure not to leave any gaps. We press the filling well so that it doesn't fall apart during the refrigeration process.

After filling all the baguettes, we carefully wrap them in cling film, ensuring they are well sealed to avoid drying out. We let them rest in the refrigerator for a few hours; ideally, we should leave them overnight, so the flavors will intensify and blend perfectly.

Before serving, we unwrap the cling film and use a sharp knife to cut the baguettes into thick slices of about one finger. These slices will not only be visually appealing but also very appetizing. This appetizer can be served on a beautiful platter, alongside olives or fresh vegetables, making it ideal for a party or a family dinner. Enjoy every bite!
