To prepare a delicious and comforting soup, we start by preparing the ingredients. In a large pot, we add water and Maggi chicken-flavored soup cubes. It is important to use enough water to achieve a rich and flavorful soup. We place the pot over medium heat and wait for the water to boil, stirring occasionally to ensure that the soup cubes have completely dissolved.

Meanwhile, we take care of the sausages. We choose high-quality sausages, cutting them into slices or cubes, depending on our preference. We add them to the pot where the soup will be, frying them in oil until they become brown and crispy. This step is essential to add an intense flavor to our soup. After the sausages are fried, we add finely chopped bacon, which will provide an extra flavor. We let it fry until it becomes crispy and releases its fat, thus enriching the soup base.

The next step is to add the onion and garlic. We chop the onion into small cubes and the garlic into thin slices. We put them in the pot, sautéing them for a few minutes until they become translucent and release their aromas. The smell that will spread in the kitchen will surely be tempting. Once the onion and garlic are sautéed, we add the potatoes, which we cut into cubes. These will add consistency to the soup and absorb the delicious flavors.

After adding the potatoes, we complete with hot water, ensuring that the ingredients are well covered. We let the soup simmer on low heat, so the flavors combine and the potatoes cook evenly. It is important to stir occasionally and check if more salt and pepper are needed, adjusting the taste to personal preferences.

Once the potatoes are cooked and the soup has reached the desired flavor, we add the cream, which will give a creamy appearance and a rich aroma. Then, it’s time to include kale, spinach, or sorrel, all of which are excellent sources of vitamins. These green leaves will add a splash of color and a fresh taste. After mixing the ingredients well, we turn off the heat and cover the pot with a lid, allowing the soup to infuse for a few minutes before serving.
