Baked pasta

 Ingredients: -350 g pasta -1 bell pepper -300 g bacon -200 g mushrooms -1 onion -2 garlic cloves -150 g cheese -1 tomato -4 tablespoons olive oil -100 g green olives -3 eggs -30 g butter -parsley -salt, pepper

To prepare a delicious dish, we start by boiling the pasta in a large pot of salted water. It is important to add a few drops of oil to the water, not just to prevent the pasta from sticking, but also to give it a richer flavor. Once the water has started to boil, we add the pasta and let it cook according to the instructions on the package, usually between 8 and 12 minutes, until al dente.

In the meantime, we take care of the aromatic ingredients. We peel the onion and garlic, chopping them finely so they release their aroma during cooking. We dice the bell pepper, mushrooms, and bacon, and for the olives, it is recommended to choose pre-sliced olives, saving precious time. Once all the ingredients are prepared, we heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

We add the onion and garlic to the skillet and sauté for 2-3 minutes until they become translucent and fragrant. Then, we add the bacon, mushrooms, and bell pepper, stirring constantly, and let everything cook for another 3 minutes. At this stage, we add the sliced olives and diced tomato, mixing the composition well. Finally, we sprinkle salt and pepper to taste, and for an extra touch of freshness, we add some chopped parsley.

After the pasta is cooked, we drain it and rinse it with cold water to stop the cooking process. Then, we transfer it to a baking dish or another heat-resistant container that we previously greased with butter to prevent sticking. On top, we pour the sautéed vegetable and bacon mixture, ensuring that the ingredients are evenly distributed.

In a separate bowl, we beat the eggs, and then pour them over the pasta, making sure they mix well with all the other ingredients. The last step is to cover everything with a generous layer of grated cheese, which will provide a delicious and golden crust at the end. We preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and place the dish in the oven, letting it bake for 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and slightly browned. Finally, we serve the dish warm, enjoying the savory combination of flavors. Bon appétit!
