Baked Shrimp

Ingredients: -400g frozen/fresh shrimp -2 cloves of garlic -4 tablespoons olive oil -50 ml dry white wine -fresh parsley -salt -pepper -lemon juice (optional)

Shrimp is a culinary delicacy, and preparing it in the oven is a simple and effective way to bring a savory dish to the table. We start by preparing the necessary ingredients. You will need 500 grams of fresh shrimp, which can be peeled beforehand or not, depending on your preferences. Make sure you also have 200 ml of dry white wine, 50 ml of olive oil, salt, freshly ground pepper, and a bunch of fresh parsley that you will chop finely. Additionally, prepare 4-5 cloves of garlic, which you will slice thinly.

Start by preheating the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Then, take a heat-resistant dish and add the shrimp to it. Pour the white wine and olive oil evenly over the shrimp. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste, keeping in mind that these spices will enhance the flavors of the dish. After that, add the chopped parsley and gently mix to ensure that all the ingredients are well integrated.

Once you have prepared the dish, place it in the preheated oven and let it cook for about 10 minutes. This time will allow the shrimp to begin cooking and absorb the flavors of the wine and oil. After 10 minutes, carefully remove the dish from the oven, considering the high temperature. Now it is time to add the sliced garlic. Gently stir to distribute the garlic evenly among the shrimp.

Once you have mixed well, return the dish to the oven and let it cook further until the wine reduces and thickens slightly, creating a delicious sauce. This will take about 10-15 minutes, but it is important to check constantly to avoid letting the sauce evaporate completely. In the end, the shrimp should be browned, and the sauce should be aromatic and flavorful.

To serve, you can use a deep plate where you will place the shrimp, making sure to include the wine and garlic sauce. If you want to add a touch of freshness, feel free to squeeze a little lemon juice on top; this will highlight the flavors and provide a pleasant contrast. You can garnish with a few fresh parsley leaves for a more appetizing appearance. Enjoy this dish alongside some crusty bread or a fresh green salad. Bon appétit!
