To prepare a delicious cake that will surely impress, we will start with a simple yet flavorful base. You will need quality ingredients to achieve a perfect final result. Start by preheating the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. In a large bowl, combine 4 eggs with 200 grams of sugar and beat until the mixture becomes creamy and light in color. Gradually add 200 milliliters of milk and 100 milliliters of oil, continuing to mix.

In another bowl, sift 250 grams of flour together with 1 packet of baking powder and a pinch of salt. Incorporate the dry ingredients into the egg mixture, carefully folding from the bottom up to avoid losing air in the composition. Pour the batter into a baking pan lined with parchment paper and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a tester inserted in the middle comes out clean. After baking, allow the base to cool completely on a rack.

Once the base has cooled, carefully cut it into three equal layers. Now it’s time to add the flavors! Take the first layer and soak it with a syrup made from water and sugar, letting it boil for a few minutes, then cooling it. On top of this layer, spread a generous layer of Finetti, which will add an intense note of chocolate and hazelnut. Carefully place the second layer over the Finetti and soak it in the same way.

To create a delicious contrast, whip 400 milliliters of heavy cream until it becomes firm. Add a tablespoon of powdered sugar and 3-4 tablespoons of fruit jam, gently mixing to maintain the airy texture of the cream. Spread this mixture over the second layer, ensuring it is evenly distributed. Then, place the last layer of cake, which you will soak just like the previous ones.

To finish the cake, cover it with a thin layer of Finetti over the entire surface and edges. This layer will enhance both the appearance and taste of the cake. Finally, decorate the cake with whipped cream, using a piping bag to create attractive shapes, or you can opt for a simpler decoration depending on your decorating skills. Add some fresh fruits or grated chocolate for an extra touch of refinement. The cake is now ready to be enjoyed, and each slice will bring joy to your loved ones!
