Who doesn’t love a fluffy, steaming muffin packed with berries? This recipe is not only quick and simple but also incredibly delicious, making you feel like a true professional chef in the comfort of your own kitchen. Inspired by the talented Camelia, who always impresses me with her dishes, this berry muffin recipe is sure to become a favorite among your loved ones.

Necessary ingredients:

For the muffins:
- 200 g berries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 tablespoon of flour (for the berries)
- 200 g butter
- 4 large eggs
- A pinch of salt
- 200 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar (about 8 g)
- 200 g flour
- 1 packet of baking powder (10 g)

For decoration:
- About 400 ml liquid cream (kept in the refrigerator)
- 50 g berries (for garnish)

Step by step: How to make the perfect muffins

1. Prepare the ingredients: Start by washing the berries well, whether they are strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, or blueberries. Let them drain to remove excess water. If you are using frozen berries, make sure to fully thaw and dry them.

2. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Remember that a consistent temperature is essential for achieving uniform and fluffy muffins.

3. Melting the butter: In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, let it cool slightly. This step is important because overly hot butter can coagulate the eggs when mixed.

4. Beating the eggs: In a large bowl, beat the eggs together with a pinch of salt, sugar, and vanilla sugar. Use an electric mixer or a whisk, mixing until the mixture becomes frothy and doubles in volume. This is a crucial step for getting airy muffins.

5. Incorporating the butter: Gradually add the melted butter to the egg mixture, continuously mixing to avoid coagulating the eggs.

6. Mixing the dry ingredients: In another bowl, sift the flour together with the baking powder. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet mixture, gently folding with a spatula until everything is well combined. Avoid overmixing, as this can affect the texture of the muffins.

7. Preparing the berries: Toss the 200 g of berries with a tablespoon of flour to help prevent them from sinking to the bottom of the batter. Then, gently fold them into the batter.

8. Filling the molds: Place silicone muffin molds in a baking tray. Greasing them with butter is essential to prevent sticking. Pour the batter into each mold, leaving about 1 cm of space to the edge, as the muffins will rise nicely in the oven.

9. Baking: Place the tray in the oven and let the muffins bake for 20-25 minutes, or until they turn golden and pass the toothpick test (when the toothpick comes out clean).

10. Cooling: Once the muffins are baked, remove them from the oven and let them cool in the tray for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

11. Decorating: Whip the cream until firm and use a piping bag or a plastic bag with a cut tip to decorate the muffins. Add the remaining berries on top for an attractive and fresh look.

Helpful tips:
- If you want to add a personal touch, you can incorporate a bit of lemon or orange zest into the batter.
- These muffins are excellent enjoyed plain, but a drizzle of chocolate or caramel sauce can transform them into the perfect dessert for a special occasion.
- You can experiment with other fruits, such as apples or peaches, adapting the recipe to your preferences.
