We wash the zucchini under cold running water, making sure to remove any impurities. After letting them drain, we cut them into appropriately sized cubes for even cooking. We place the zucchini cubes in a sieve, sprinkle them with salt, and let them drain for about 30 minutes. This step is essential to remove excess water from the zucchini so that our dish does not become too watery. Once drained, we gently pat them dry with a kitchen towel to ensure they are dry.

Meanwhile, we clean the green onion, slicing it into thin rings, which will add a crunchy note and a fresh taste to our dish. We preheat the oven to a medium temperature, then place the dishes with zucchini inside. We let them bake until the zucchini develops a golden crust and the entire mixture is nicely browned. This will take about 25-30 minutes, but it is good to check from time to time. Once ready, we remove the dishes from the oven and let the dish cool slightly before serving.
