In a large bowl, start by sifting together the flour, baking soda, salt, and sugar. This step is essential as sifting helps aerate the ingredients, ensuring a fluffy texture of the final dough. Once you have a homogeneous mixture, make a well in the center. Here, add the beaten eggs and the 150 ml of milk. Using a spatula or a wooden spoon, carefully mix the ingredients, letting yourself be inspired by the aromas that begin to reveal themselves.

As you mix, gradually add more milk, being careful not to make the dough too stiff. The ideal consistency is soft but holds together well. After you have obtained the dough, start kneading it with determination. This process should take about 10 minutes, and the dough should become elastic and form air bubbles. Add the diced bread cubes and mix the composition well, ensuring each piece of bread is enveloped in the dough.

In a wider pot, bring lightly salted water to a boil. Meanwhile, shape the dough into a loaf, placing it in a clean cheesecloth. Tie the ends of the cheesecloth, making sure to leave enough space for the dough to rise, as it will double in volume during boiling. Once the water has begun to boil, carefully introduce the 'bread' into the pot of boiling water. Let it boil for 45 minutes, turning the 'bread' occasionally to 'cook' evenly.

After the boiling time has expired, carefully remove the dough from the water and unwrap the cheesecloth. Cover the 'bread' with another dry cheesecloth and let it cool. This stage is crucial as it allows the flavors to stabilize. In the end, you will be surprised by the fluffy texture and the unique taste of the bread you have patiently prepared. I recommend serving it alongside a pork stew, a Swiss recipe that will perfectly complement this dish, providing an unforgettable culinary experience. This combination will surely become a favorite among your guests.
