Beans with Sour Cream
To prepare a delicious dish, we start with green beans, which will become the stars of this recipe. In a large pot, we bring water to a boil, adding a tablespoon of salt to enhance the flavors. We clean the beans by removing the fibrous tip and break them into small pieces, about 3-4 cm, to ensure even cooking. Once the water has started to boil, we add the beans and let them boil for 5-7 minutes until they become tender but still crunchy. It is important not to overcook them to maintain the pleasant texture.
After the beans are ready, we drain them well and set them aside for a few moments. In a deep frying pan, we melt a piece of butter over medium heat. The butter will give a rich and creamy taste to the dish. Once the butter is completely melted, we add a teaspoon of vegeta to add extra flavor. Garlic, finely chopped or minced, is the next ingredient added, being careful not to leave it on the heat too long to avoid bitterness.
We stir with a wooden spoon, being careful not to crush the delicate beans. After a few minutes, we add the boiled beans to the pan, gently mixing to coat them evenly with butter and garlic. Once all the ingredients have combined, we pour cream over the beans, allowing them to be dressed in a creamy and flavorful sauce.
We let everything cook on low heat for 3-4 minutes, so the flavors blend perfectly. Finally, we add freshly chopped dill, which will provide a fresh taste and an extra pop of color.
This dish is perfect served warm, alongside a portion of steaming polenta or fresh bread, which will harmoniously complement the intense flavors of the beans. It is also delicious at room temperature, making it an excellent choice for hot days or for a picnic.
Don't forget to enjoy every bite! Bon appétit!
