Cheese Cake – A Simple and Delicious Recipe

If you are looking for a quick, easy-to-make dessert with a special taste, cheese cake is the perfect choice. This cheese cake recipe combines the creamy texture of cheese with a soft and aromatic base, making it ideal for any occasion. Moreover, it is a versatile recipe that you can adapt according to your preferences.

Total preparation time: 1 hour
Baking time: 45-50 minutes
Number of servings: 12

Ingredients:

*For the base:*
- 4 large, fresh eggs
- 200 ml sour cream (you can replace half of the amount with water for a lighter version)
- 150 ml sunflower oil
- 2 baking powders
- 1 vanilla essence
- 150 g wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 7 tablespoons sugar (or a sweetener of your choice, to taste)

*For the cheese cream:*
- 800 g mixed cottage cheese (or mascarpone cheese for a smoother texture)
- 2 large eggs
- Vanilla essence and sweetener, to taste

Preparation instructions:

1. Preparing the oven: Start by preheating the oven to 180°C. Make sure you have a baking tray (about 30x20 cm) greased with a little oil or lined with baking paper.

2. Preparing the base mixture: Sift the flour and cocoa into a large bowl. This step is essential to avoid lumps and to achieve a fluffy base. In another bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar (or sweetener) using a mixer until foamy. Add the vanilla essence and oil, mixing continuously.

3. Combining the ingredients: In another bowl, mix the sour cream with the water and baking powder. Then, add the sour cream mixture to the egg mixture and gently mix. Gradually incorporate the flour and cocoa mixture, stirring with a spatula to achieve a homogeneous composition.

4. Baking the first part of the base: Pour one-third of the base mixture into the prepared tray and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until it feels slightly firm to the touch.

5. Preparing the cheese cream: While the base is baking, prepare the cheese cream. Mix the cottage cheese with the two eggs and vanilla essence, adding the sweetener to taste. If you wish, you can also add raisins for extra flavor.

6. Finishing the cake: After the base has been partially baked, remove the tray from the oven and carefully add the cheese cream over the warm base. Pour the remaining base mixture on top and level it. Bake everything on low heat for about 25-30 minutes, until the cake turns golden and easily pulls away from the edges of the tray.

7. Cooling and serving: Allow the cake to cool completely in the tray before cutting it into servings. If you like, you can dust it with coconut instead of sugar to avoid extra calories.

Useful tips:
- Choose quality ingredients, especially when it comes to cheese, to achieve a rich and creamy taste.
- You can replace cocoa with melted chocolate for an even more intense flavor.
- If you want to add a seasonal note, try including flavors like cinnamon or nutmeg in the base.

This cheese cake recipe is not only simple but also impressive, perfect for serving at a festive meal or simply to indulge yourself after a long day. Enjoy every slice and relish the flavor combinations!
