To prepare a delicious recipe for stuffed peppers with tuna, we will start by ensuring that we have all the necessary ingredients at hand. First, we prepare a slice of bread, which we will soak in milk. It is important to choose fresh bread, as it will contribute to a better texture of the mixture. After soaking the bread, we carefully squeeze it to remove the excess milk and add it to a large bowl, where we will combine all the ingredients.

To complete the filling, we open a can of tuna and drain it well, then break it into smaller pieces so that it integrates perfectly into the mixture. We continue by slicing the olives into thin rounds, dicing the tomatoes, and adding the capers, which will add a distinct flavor. We must not forget the fresh parsley, which we chop finely to give the dish a fresh aroma. Also, the garlic, which will add extra flavor, will be finely chopped.

Once all the ingredients are prepared, we mix them with the bread and tuna, ensuring that each ingredient is well distributed. Finally, we will salt the mixture to taste, being careful not to overdo it, as the olives and capers already bring a salty note.

Next, we take care of the peppers. We choose bell peppers, preferably red or yellow, which are not only sweeter but also more aesthetically pleasing. We cut each pepper in half lengthwise and remove the seeds, as well as the white filaments, which can add a bitter taste. Now, using a spoon, we fill each half of the pepper with the delicious mixture we prepared earlier.

After filling the peppers, we lightly drizzle them with olive oil to help them brown nicely during baking. On top, we sprinkle breadcrumbs, which will create a crispy and golden crust. We place the stuffed peppers in a baking tray lined with parchment paper, ensuring they are well arranged for even baking.

We preheat the oven to a medium temperature, around 180 degrees Celsius, and place the tray with the stuffed peppers inside. We let them bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the breadcrumbs turn golden and the peppers are tender. When they are ready, we take the tray out of the oven and let the dish cool slightly before serving. These stuffed peppers with tuna are perfect as an appetizer or as a main dish, bringing a touch of sunshine to every meal. Enjoy your meal!
