On a special day, when we celebrate an anniversary, a delicious cake is always the perfect gift. Today, I will share the recipe for a Bica Geta cake, a sweet creation dedicated to my mother-in-law, who is celebrating her birthday. This cake with three types of chocolate, puddings, and fresh fruits is truly a delight for the taste buds.
Necessary ingredients:
- 1 cake layer (for an excellent result, I recommend baking it at home, but if time does not allow, you can use a store-bought one, although the quality will differ)
- 150 g milk chocolate + 50 ml cream
- 150 g dark chocolate + 50 ml cream
- 200 ml whipped cream, well beaten
- 1 packet caramel pudding powder + 300 ml milk
- 1 packet chocolate pudding powder + 300 ml milk
- 300 ml cream for decoration
- 2 kiwis, red grape berries
Preparation method:
1. Preparing the chocolate: Start by melting the dark chocolate. Place 150 g of dark chocolate in a bowl and add 50 ml of cream. Heat in a water bath or microwave, being careful not to burn it. Mix well until you achieve a homogeneous composition. Once melted, let it cool completely. Do the same with the milk chocolate.
2. Preparing the pudding: In a pot, add 300 ml of milk and the caramel pudding powder. Boil according to the instructions on the package, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Once the pudding is ready, let it cool well. Repeat the process for the chocolate pudding.
3. Whipping the cream: Use a mixer to whip 200 ml of cream until it becomes very stiff. This step is essential to achieve an airy texture for the cake.
4. Creating the compositions: Divide the whipped cream into two. Mix half of the cream (100 ml) with the cooled dark chocolate. Then, add the chilled chocolate pudding and mix gently until homogeneous. In the other half of the cream, mix with the caramel pudding and the milk chocolate.
5. Assembling the cake: If the cake layer is not already cut, divide it into three equal parts. Start by spreading the first layer with the dark chocolate cream. Place the second layer and spread it with the milk chocolate cream. Make sure the layers are well soaked with burnt sugar syrup mixed with rum essence. This syrup will add a rich flavor and keep the cake moist.
6. Decorating: The last layer of cake will not have cream but will be covered with the remaining whipped cream. Use 300 ml of whipped cream for decoration, ensuring it is well whipped. Place the cut fruits on top, such as kiwi and red grape berries, for a fresh and colorful appearance.
Useful tips:
- To achieve a perfect cake layer, use ingredients at room temperature and ensure the egg whites are whipped well for a fluffy texture.
- The burnt sugar syrup can be personalized with flavored essences, such as vanilla or almonds, for an extra touch of flavor.
- The Bica Geta cake can be served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream alongside for a delicious contrast.
We guarantee that this Bica Geta cake will bring smiles to the faces of your loved ones and turn any celebration into a memorable experience. Happy Birthday, Bica!
